Location sharing website launches new Google gadgets and Facebook application developed by eleventeenth.

MyVector, the social networking website that lets corporate and social travellers communicate their travel plans to their friends, colleagues and family has just launched new tools to make it easier for users to share where they are. A new Google Gadget enables users to see the present and future location of their colleagues on their iGoogle homepage. And a Facebook application enable users to share their present location and travel itinerary with their network of friend on the popular networking site.

The aim of MyVector is to help colleagues know of their contacts travel plans to enable them to synchronise diaries, and reduce unnecessary costly and environmentally damaging international travel. The site also enables travellers social networks to see their travel plans to enable them to better organise social and family events.

eleventeenth developer Gareth Edwards said, "MyVector is all about establishing and informing your friends and colleagues. The new iGoogle application helps users see, at a glance, where in the world their friends are and what time of day it is in that location. Clearly, it's all about building a network, but for users who don't whose social network does not travel so much, the application still forms a useful world time clock, along with an attractive day/night shadow to give a quick visual indication of the time of day in a range of global locations."

Both of the tools were developed by Wakefield based digital logistics company, eleventeenth.

CEO of MyVector, Tarquin Clark said. "eleventeenth has done a great job of delivering two very user-friendly and sophisticated applications. These tools, which were delivered in a very short timeframe, make it easier for our users to inform and stay informed of their networks travel plans."

MyVector was founded in 2005, and was the first location sharing social network.

eleventeenth limited was established in 1999, and provides digital logistics solutions to companies ranging from international corporations such as Nintendo through to public sector bodies like the Police Force and to start ups like MyVector and FuelMyBlog.
